You have a million things on your to do list and some days it feels overwhelming. Even the number of sites telling you what to do and when can make your head spin. So we wanted to take a moment and speak just to our piece of the puzzle.
The key to answering this question is how important it is to you to get the perfect DJ for your personality, the level of service and the price you want. For slow season dates (random Nov-Feb) sometimes you can book 2-3 months out. For prime season dates some brides book 12-18 months in advance to make sure they get the DJ they really want.
Our best advice? Select all of your vendors first. The temptation is to pick one or two vendors and then get caught up in the details of their piece. Once you've reserved dates with your vendors, you have time to fill in the details of what linens, which flowers, colors, etc. If you get too caught up in the details and forget to lock in all the vendors first, then you can end up with a "B" grade vendor you may not be that happy with.
